LYC Minnesota - Mission

We aspire to promote Asian and Asian-American culture within the context of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Community in Minnesota.

To heighten awareness of Asian and Asian-American issues
To increase visibility of and respect for GLBT Asians within the Minnesota Asian Community, and the greater GLBT Community
To provide a supportive welcoming environment for social and educational events
To promote an atmosphere of mutual respect, in which we can genuinely get to know people of cultures different from our own
To share our knowledge, skills, talents and resources in mutual support of each other
To acknowledge the presence of AIDS in society and to encourage our members to act responsibly
To encourage our members to participate in other non-profit or political organizations
To provide travel information about affiliated organizations and welcome traveling members
To take the initiative of working together to achieve the mission of the organization
